What's Your Vision?
By the sites of this photo, you're probably wondering what's going on with my vision! Just a few minutes ago I left the Eye MD Surgery Center in Oakland, California -(a big shout out to the awesome care I received there by Dr. Michael Wang, and the rest of the team - Yvonne, Earl, Luong and the best anesthesiologist ever, Dr. Nicoll). Except for Dr. Wang I was meeting the team for the first time and they were terrific. Dr. Wang has been taking care of me for nearly two decades and he's pretty special, so If your looking for a great ophthalmologist in the Bay Area, call him at Eye Physicians of the East Bay.
Now back to the patch, the plan was to improve my vision, reduce the haze and help me see better. When I got to the car and looked in the mirror, it struck me that today's activity was a metaphor for my life. What's clouding my vision, a little foggy or in need of a clearing? What are the patches and what are they covering up? Lots for me to reflect on as I'm told to be still for the rest of the day.
