Julio Castaing
HR Consultant
A Human Resources executive with over 25 years of experience with global fortune 500 companies. Throughout his career he has helped organizations effectively unleash employee’s potential through a focus on coaching, talent management, employee development and skill building to increase their capability and effectiveness in their respective environments. He has thrived on strategic partnerships that have led to the development of highly functioning teams.
Currently Mr. Castaing leads Human Resources for one of the largest human services organization in NYC, while also serving as Principal Consultant for Skyline Human Capital, a boutique Human Capital firm he founded in 2012. His prior experiences include senior leadership roles with The Walt Disney Company, Scripps Networks Interactive, Nestle Waters USA. In addition Mr. Castaing has also successfully leveraged his bi-lingual skills and Latino cultural background while leading HR for over 600 restaurants in the Caribbean and Latin American franchise business unit of YUM! Brands. Mr. Castaing began his career in management training roles at Philip Morris and Schering Plough Corporations.
Mr. Castaing has maintained a close tie to his roots in NYC. Upon his return to NYC in 2010 he joined the Board of Directors of the DOME Project, a community based organization, which is focused on providing alternative educational and life coping solutions to “at-risk” young people.
Mr. Castaing was a standout athlete at and graduated Brooklyn Technical High School, and received a BS in Industrial and Labor Relations from Cornell University. He currently resides in NYC.
