MEET OUR TEAM
Robyn has a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering and a Master’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering. She worked at Sandia National Labs in New Mexico for twelve years as an engineerand a manager. She left Sandia Labs in 2006 to be at home with her two young daughters and subsequently decided to pursue a career in coaching. Robyn went through training and certification with Coaches Training Institute (CTI) and is International Coaches Federation (ICF)certified. In addition, she is part of the Arbinger Coaches Network and is an Arbinger-trained coach. Robyn successfully completed Arbinger’s 15-week “Choice in Coaching” twice -- once before becoming a certified coach and once after (this training has been updated and renamed “Coaching and Mentoring with an Outward Mindset” for reference). The Arbinger Institute wrote, Leadership and Self Deception, and Anatomy of Peace, and in 2016 The Outward Mindset (see Arbinger.com for more information). Their work inspired Robyn to pursue a career in coaching. Robyn recently became a Certified Facilitator to teach the Arbinger Training Program, the two-day training course on The Outward Mindset.
Robyn’s clients are leaders from around the world and work in myriad professional fields within corporations, government agencies, and nonprofits. She is comfortable coaching leaders during significant change initiatives, reorganizations, and/or transitions into an expanded role. A few of Robyn’s clients work at Sandia National Labs and others are from as far away as New Zealand. Robyn also meets regularly online with colleagues in different parts of the world – currently England, Jordan, New Zealand, and Canada – and different coaching communities, such Learning as Leadership, Arbinger Institute, Coaches Training Institute, and the International CoachesFederation. Being global and having the mindset that we are all people with hopes, dreams, andfears is an integral part of Robyn’s coaching.
